Vision 2026 Church Retreat
Dear Church Members and Friends ,
You are invited to attend the HUMC vision retreat to explore optics and feasibility of incorporating new initiatives with the broad umbrella of the theme of the year “ “ Intentional Outreach To The Community .” ( IOC )
When : Sunday February 22, 2026
Time : 11:15- 12:30 pm
Where : Sunroom
The purpose of the retreat is to intentionally engage and prioritize outreach ministries in whatever forms it requires. The following items will be discussed :
Report on on the implementations of diverse revenue streams
( repurposing building , new investments etc)
Name Change , we are a community centered congregation , while keeping our identity as United Methodist, a name that captures what we do , our mission and core values is paramount for revitalization. Few names such as Hopewell Valley Christian Church , Hopewell Community Church will better represent our future
International Partnerships, initiate sister Churches around the world for mutual collaboration, prayer and support .Please plan to attend this important meeting .
Pizza will be provided for lunch .
